Maggie Engstrom is owner of Sweet Bay Inc. She has 27 years of floral experience in European Design. Maggie studied in Germany with Gregor Lersch as well as throughout the USA with other top Mentors. The team at Sweet Bay are all professional florists with backgrounds of retail experience. Each member brings unique creativity with customer satisfaction as their passion.

Maggie is in her 10th season with Homes for the Holidays and her designs are always a crowd favorite.

Anita Boose

Urban Nest was established in 2015 by a mother and daughter pursuing a dream. They have a true passion for sharing their love of design in the community and enjoy piecing together one-of-a-kind items with others to create a style that blends effortlessly.

Located at 1400 Ribaut Road in Port Royal, Urban Nest is home to over 30 local artists in the Lowcountry offering furniture, accessories and home decor. This unique shop has grown into more than just another boutique. They have just opened a coffee & espresso bar that has become a gathering place for locals and visitors alike.

Their mission is to make broken things become something beautiful with a unique story to tell.

Cabana22, owned by Nancy Saylor Hall, opened in November 2019. The prominent idea was to create a bright, happy, fun place to shop. The Ballance Group, owned by designer Annie Balance, is a small design firm focused on providing timeless and unique spaces. Their interiors offer fresh, livable, and elegant surroundings.

The Ballance Group has been providing multi-faceted interior design services in the Lowcountry for more than a decade. The company has received numerous awards for excellence in design and historic preservation and specializes in creating original interiors sensitive to both the client’s taste and the Lowcountry setting.

Anne Parker Ballance received her Master’s Degree in Interior Design from The Savannah College of Art and Design. She continued her affiliation with the college as a professor in the Interior Design department until 2003.
